In our last blog we discussed the importance of colour psychology. We will openly admit that Pantone are the actual experts in how colour affects consumerism.

Pantone’s colour scheme is the most important colour matching scheme that has ever been made (ever). At No79 Pantone is our go-to for all things design whether it be designing logos or other print-related materials.

As designers at No79, we are pretty excited about the Pantone Colour of The Year. The blue is a timeless and elegant blue. It has been described by many as dependable, resilient, stable and even spiritual which (dare I mention) is welcomed at a time of political unrest.

Classic blue provides us with an anchoring foundation. A boundless blue evocative of the vast and infinite evening sky. Classic blue encourages us to look beyond the obvious and expand our thinking

How do No79 Design feel about Patone’s Classic Blue?

We especially like using Patone’s classic blue with orange to provide a fresh, bold and modern approach.

We are also partial to combining it with white for a crisp and classical effect.

Check out our No79 logo, nice isn’t it?
